How about a spicy flank steak
2 pounds flank steak
1/3 cup red wine, preferably dry
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lime zest
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
Place flank steak in a shallow glass dish. Combine remaining ingredients and pour onto steak. Cover dish and allow to marinate in refrigerator for 2-8 hours. Preheat grill for medium heat. Remove meat from dish, reserving marinade. Place steak onto grill and brush liberally with marinade. Cook for 5 minutes, turn, brush with marinade again and cook for additional 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and serve.
Food, food, food, everyone should say one or two things that they'd like to see on the menu, then an attempt should be made to accommodate as best as possible. Can't please everyone, but can at least try. Personally, i don't drink, so that's more liquor for everyone else.
maybe we could have the meetup in the US...hehe that way we don't get kidnapped. i don't have to drink and eat steak....just give me a good baked potato and a glass of water...and i am good to go!! i will take the REALLY embarrassing pictures of body parts and funny faces...lol
