@KevanV: @Wendelboe#gwibber was working for me , up until last week. it stopped for some reason, and I havent yet figured why. I think it was the site code, since nothing changed on gwibber last week.
there's qaiku now. new service that's more stable. but got only huge base from north european countries. sometimes it's bit dead there as well. but that's stable.
btw, i don't use much web interface, so i didn't experience problems with jaiku over IM. except posts comming via IM are twice. but apart from that, jaiku seems stable.

only a little differences. basicaly ppl that liket jaiku but had enough of it being unreliable decided to create their own service.
